Biography

I received my MD at Stanford University School of Medicine and went on to complete my medical internship and residency training in Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine. After residency, I held a position as an attending physician in psychiatry at the Manhattan VA Medical Center where I trained new residents and held a faculty position as a clinical instructor at NYU School of Medicine.

After moving to the Bay Area, I worked as a consulting psychiatrist for Dignity Health, helping educate and train doctors, nurses, and midwives on integrating maternal mental health care into their practices. I joined Lifeline for Moms, a national network directed towards expanding access to quality mental health care for pregnant and postpartum women.

In 2020 I trained in ketamine administration with Ketamine Treatment Center.

In 2022 I was appointed associate clinical professor at Stanford School of Medicine, where I focus on clinical psychiatry for women with medically complicated pregnancies.

I have maintained a private practice in adult psychiatry since 2009.
